Seven-course beef from Sam Mountain is a Chau Doc specialty loved by many diners. As the name suggests, this dish includes seven beef dishes including: stir-fried beef with giang leaves, boiled beef intestines, beef with bread, beef steak, beef shake, and beef porridge.

The beef used in this dish is from the That Son (Seven Mountains) region, and must be young beef. People rarely buy beef by the kilo at the market to prepare it, but use a whole cow.

Dried pomelo salad with snakehead fish

Dried pomelo and snakehead fish salad has become a symbol of Chau Doc cuisine because of the combination of ingredients to create this extremely special dish.

The main ingredient of the dish is dried snakehead fish. After being cleaned, the snakehead fish is marinated with spices and dried in the sun. Then it is shredded and mixed with grapefruit segments and typical herbs.
