Many exciting activities at the Southern Fruit Festival 2025

With the theme "Preserving the Roots of Agriculture - Maintaining the Soul of the Nation - Integrating into the Modern Era," the highlight of the Southern Fruit Festival 2025 is a series of activities showcasing characteristic agricultural products of the South, combining traditional cultural values ​​of the nation with innovative trends and integration in the fields of trade, tourism, and technology.

On May 22nd, the Department of Culture and Sports , the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company, held an information session about the 21st Southern Fruit Festival - Suoi Tien Farm Festival 2025, which will take place from June 1st to August 31st, 2025.

With the theme "Preserving the Roots of Agriculture - Maintaining the Soul of the Nation - Integrating with the Modern Era," the highlight of this year's festival is a series of activities showcasing characteristic agricultural products of Southern Vietnam, combining traditional cultural values ​​with innovative trends and integration in the fields of commerce, tourism, and technology. The event brings together more than 20 booths displaying and introducing fresh agricultural products, processed specialties, and typical OCOP products of Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors have the opportunity to visit and shop at the fruit market with hundreds of fresh, early-season tropical fruits at surprisingly discounted prices, such as: Sa Pa peaches, Hanoi plums, Dak Lak avocados, Hoa Loc mangoes, Lai Thieu mangosteens, Long An watermelons, Tra Vinh longan , etc.

Within the framework of this year's Southern Fruit Festival at Suoi Tien Tourist Area, the Department of Industry and Trade will for the first time preside over the Ho Chi Minh City Agricultural Products Promotion Day 2025, combining social media platforms with live stream sales of agricultural products, featuring participation from famous media personalities, etc.

In addition, there is a series of activities that diversify cultural and artistic experiences: Fruit carving art competition, Friendship Melodies, the parade show "Vietnamese Agricultural Products Reaching International Integration", ASEAN Harmony Festival 2025,... A series of activities that diversify entertainment and culinary experiences: Folk games area and agricultural culture experience in the "Homeland Spirit Convergence" area, Water Festival, Limited Edition Suoi Tien Merchandise and Specialty Products Sale Event, Food Street featuring delicious dishes from the three regions of North, Central, and South Vietnam, and dishes made from fruits and vegetables…

According to representatives of Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Park, along with activities throughout the summer, the Southern Fruit Festival at Suoi Tien attracted approximately 800,000 to 1,000,000 visitors before the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, the park expects visitor numbers to reach 80% of pre-pandemic levels, as Suoi Tien has implemented a series of programs and activities to serve tourists. In addition, the operation of Metro Line 1 – a new symbol of the city – will greatly facilitate visitors to Suoi Tien.
