National Economics University announces score conversion table, floor score 22

On the evening of July 22, National Economics University (NEU) officially announced the minimum admission scores and the equivalent conversion table between regular university admission methods in 2025.

Accordingly, this year, the minimum score for receiving admission applications to the National Economics University based on the high school graduation exam score is 22 points for the four groups A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English).

The above scores are equivalent to last year and have applied regional and subject priority points, if any.

For legal majors/training programs, a minimum score of 6 points is required for mathematics.

In addition, the National Economics University said that the school uses four combinations A00, A01, D01, D07 but there is no difference in admission scores and passing scores between the combinations.

Comparing between methods, National Economics University converts 28 - 30 high school graduation exam points equivalent to 114 - 128 HSA capacity assessment test points; 22 - 24 high school graduation exam points equivalent to 85 - 89 HSA capacity assessment test points.

Based on the high school graduation exam score distribution this year, Dr. Le Anh Duc - Head of Training Department of National Economics University - said that with the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores in 2025, the general standard score of training institutions will be lower than in 2024.

Especially for combinations with math and English, it can be 2-3 points lower because the score range of math and English is much lower than in 2024.

Mr. Duc predicts that the admission scores for majors at the National Economics University this year may be 1-2 points lower than last year, depending on the major.
