Teacher strangling colleague case: Ministry of Education requests urgent report

(Dan Tri) - The Ministry of Education and Training requested the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training to urgently inspect, verify and report the incident of a teacher being strangled by a colleague in the schoolyard to the Ministry before October 14.

The report requires clarification of the incident's developments, the responsibilities of relevant groups and individuals, and the handling measures that have been taken.

Also according to the Ministry of Education and Training , this unit received feedback through the press about a math teacher at Vo Nguyen Giap High School assaulting another teacher right in the school yard.

"This behavior seriously violates regulations on teachers' ethics and negatively affects the pedagogical environment," the Ministry of Education and Training stated.

As Dan Tri reported, at around 7:10 a.m. on October 3, Mr. S. was on duty checking student discipline as assigned by the school's board of directors.

Teacher S. discovered Mr. T. parked his motorbike in the middle of the school gate and reminded him to park his vehicle properly. At that time, Mr. T. cursed, threatened and strangled teacher S. twice in front of the school security guards and students.

The entire incident was recorded by the school's security cameras.

The incident left Mr. S. with a neck injury, affecting his teaching mentality and shocking the students who witnessed it.

Mr. T. was disciplined 5 times during his career for beating, cursing, insulting students and challenging parents.
