On January 3, the National Economics University officially issued its 2025 enrollment plan. This is also the first school in the country to announce the plan. Compared to 2024, this university still maintains stable methods, including direct admission, admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, and combined admission.

With the direct admission method, applied to candidates who won third prize or higher in national and international excellent student competitions; first prize in national and international science and technology competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam results , this university recruits according to four groups, including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), with no difference in admission scores between groups.

The combined admission method will be for three groups of candidates.

Group 1 is students with international SAT certificates from 1200/1600 or ACT 26/36 or higher within 2 years, up to June 1, 2025.

Group 2 includes candidates with a minimum score of 85/150 HSA, 700/1200 APT or 60/100 TSA on the ability assessment test, or candidates with an international English certificate of IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 46 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160 &W 150) or higher combined with the above HSA/APT/TSA scores.

Group 3 is candidates with an English certificate combined with the 2025 high school graduation exam scores. The English certificate requirements are similar to group 2.

In 2025, the National Economics University plans to enroll 89 programs with two new programs: Labor Relations and International Trade Law. The expected admission threshold for the admission method based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores is expected to be 20, including priority points.

Tuition for the standard program of the National Economics University in 2025 - 2026 is expected to be around 18-25 million VND/year.
