According to the political report presented at the Congress, An Tuong commune was established after the merger of 03 communes: An Tuong Tay, An Huu and Dak Mang. In the past term, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, with the timely leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; the flexible and effective management and operation of the Provincial People's Committee; the active coordination and support of all levels, sectors, Party Committees, authorities, army and people, the 03 communes have actively promoted advantages, gradually overcome difficulties and challenges, focused on effectively implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress and achieved important results.
The local economy has developed quite well. The agricultural sector has developed relatively comprehensively, bringing about efficiency. Infrastructure has been invested in, built and upgraded, better meeting development requirements. The local appearance has improved a lot. The average income per capita in all three communes before the merger has reached and exceeded the set target. The people's lives, especially those of ethnic minorities, have been basically stable and improved in many aspects. Education has been given attention, the quality of universal education has continued to be maintained. The poverty rate has decreased gradually over the years, social security policies have been fully and promptly implemented. National defense and security have been maintained, social order and safety have been ensured.

The work of Party building and rectification has been strengthened. The political system has been regularly consolidated and improved, especially after the implementation of the policy of merging commune-level administrative units. The administrative apparatus has been streamlined and gradually put into stable and effective operation. The national solidarity bloc has been increasingly consolidated, and the people's trust in the Party's leadership and State management has been enhanced.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of An Tuong commune sets out the general goal of building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; the strength of great national unity; socio-economic development associated with environmental protection, promoting innovation and digital transformation; maintaining national defense and security; determined to build An Tuong commune to develop rapidly and sustainably. Specifically, striving for a total product value growth rate of 8.1%/year. Economic structure, agriculture and forestry account for 54.9%; industry and construction account for 22.2%; trade and services account for 22.9%. Total budget revenue in the area by 2030 will reach 9 billion VND. Striving for no poor households in the commune by 2030; the rate of national standard schools will reach 100%.
Delegates attending the congress
At the Congress, delegates focused on discussing and correctly assessing the results achieved, clarifying the advantages and disadvantages, causes and drawing lessons from the 5 years of implementing the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term. On that basis, they proposed directions, goals, tasks and practical, breakthrough solutions for socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security and building a strong political system in the next 5 years. At the same time, they discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party and the draft political report submitted to the 1st Congress of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.
Speaking at the congress, comrade Nguyen Tuan Anh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the consensus, dedication and congratulated the achievements of the Party committees, authorities and people of the three communes of An Tuong Tay, An Huu and Dak Mang in the past term. He affirmed that the results achieved by the three communes in the past time have contributed positively to the overall development of the province. At the same time, this is also an important foundation for An Tuong commune to continue to develop faster and more sustainably in the coming time.
In the context that the whole country is changing from the state of "running and lining up" to "straight lines, clear paths, unanimously moving forward" towards the future; in order to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the coming term, the member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested An Tuong commune to quickly stabilize the organization, unify ideology, promote the strengths of each old commune, and at the same time overcome the shortcomings and limitations that have been pointed out. Quickly complete the organizational apparatus, improve the quality of governance, be closer to the people, serve the people better.

The commune Party Committee needs to focus on leading and directing well the dissemination to all cadres, party members and people of the Party's correct policies related to the rearrangement of administrative units at all levels and the organization of a two-level local government model. The entire political system of the commune needs to change its mindset from management and control to a service mindset. Each cadre and party member needs to grasp the Party's policies, understand the law correctly, perform their duties and powers correctly, and ensure that work is resolved quickly, transparently, in accordance with regulations, and in the spirit of serving the people.
He suggested that the new Party Committee should clearly define the projects, plans and specific tasks to be done during the term to achieve the goals set out in the Congress Resolution with the spirit of 6 clear: "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear products, clear results and clear implementation roadmap". Immediately after the Congress, it is necessary to urgently concretize the resolution into specific action programs and plans, not only for the entire 5-year term but also for each 3-year period and every year. Each task and each goal must be clearly assigned, with specific steps, close to reality, proactively mobilizing resources for implementation.
Along with that, focus on innovating scientific, disciplined and disciplined leadership methods; enhance the quality of Party cell activities, pay attention to improving the quality of Party members, ideology, ethics, and action capacity; do a good job of developing new Party members, especially the young workforce in private enterprises.
Pay more attention to social security, sustainable poverty reduction, people's health care, cultural and educational development. In particular, it is necessary to create a favorable environment for the private economy to develop strongly. An Tuong commune needs to proactively review, cut down and simplify administrative procedures, creating maximum conditions for business households, small and medium-sized enterprises to start up and expand production and business in the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development. In addition, strengthen the work of ensuring national defense and security, maintaining social order and safety; proactively grasp the situation, promptly resolve issues arising at the grassroots level, and prevent hot spots from occurring.
The Party Committee of An Tuong commune, term I, 2025-2030, introduced itself to the congress and delivered a speech accepting the assignment.
Comrade Nguyen Tuan Anh emphasized that entering a new development stage with many opportunities and advantages but also facing many difficulties and challenges; therefore, each cadre, party member and people in the area must make more efforts, be more proactive and creative; grasp the opportunities, promote advantages, overcome difficulties and challenges to create a solid momentum to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Congress. He expressed his belief that the Party Committee, government, army and people of An Tuong commune will create a strong change in implementing the directions, targets and tasks for the 5-year period of 2025 - 2030; contributing to the cause of socio-economic construction and development, participating in the task of ensuring political security of the province in the new situation.
At the congress, the Party Executive Committee of the commune announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee, the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Tuong commune for the first term, 2025-2030. Accordingly, the Party Executive Committee of An Tuong commune consists of 24 comrades. Comrade Thai Danh Han was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Tuong commune for the first term, 2025-2030./.
