The Party Congress of Thong Nhat commune for the term 2025

- In 2 days (July 27 and 28), Thong Nhat Commune Party Committee held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the congress were comrade Doan Thu Ha, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs; representatives of provincial Party committees and 115 official delegates.

Thong Nhat Commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes of the old Loc Binh district, including: Thong Nhat, Minh Hiep and Huu Lan. Currently, the commune Party Committee has 55 party organizations and 975 party members.

Comrade Ly Thi Thuy, Party Secretary, Chairwoman of Thong Nhat Commune People's Council delivered the opening speech of the congress.

During the 2020-2025 term, with the solidarity and determination of the leadership, the efforts and striving of the entire political system, the consensus of the people and the business community, Thong Nhat commune has achieved many important results. The commune has achieved and exceeded 12/18 set targets.

At the congress, delegates discussed and voted to approve a report summarizing comments on the draft documents submitted to the congress at a higher level. At the same time, they discussed additional results achieved and proposed directions and solutions to effectively implement the goals and targets for the next term.

Comrade Doan Thu Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, presented flowers to congratulate the Party Executive Committee of Thong Nhat commune for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The Congress heard the announcement of the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Thong Nhat Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Ly Thi Thuy (former member of the District Party Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of Loc Binh District Party Committee) was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Thong Nhat Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Doan Thu Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, gave a speech directing the congress.

Speaking at the congress, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee commended and acknowledged the outstanding results that the Thong Nhat Commune Party Committee had achieved in the past term.

He suggested: The Party Committee of the commune continue to build a clean and strong political system; innovate mass mobilization work, stay close to the people, promptly resolve people's legitimate petitions; strengthen inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline, prevent and combat corruption, waste, and negativity. Focus on effectively leading the implementation of socio -economic development goals; resolutely and synchronously deploy the "four pillars" of foundation to bring the country into a new era.

Effectively exploiting advantages, developing agricultural economy in the direction of goods, applying science and technology; promoting the potential of relics, traditional culture to develop tourism; building new rural areas in a sustainable direction, with a suitable roadmap. Improving the quality of education and health care for the people; promoting administrative reform, digital transformation in government activities, best serving the people and businesses.
