Lao Embassy in Russia congratulates Vietnam's 80th National Day

At the meeting, on behalf of the Lao Embassy in Russia, Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy sent best wishes to the Party, State and people of Vietnam, as well as to all staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy affirmed that the Lao people and nation always stand side by side, united with the Vietnamese people and nation, both in the past national liberation struggle as well as in the current national construction and development. The Lao Ambassador to Russia emphasized that the Lao people and nation always attach importance to the relationship with Vietnam.

Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy expressed his hope that Vietnam will achieve more achievements in national construction and development in the coming time; affirmed that he will cooperate more closely with the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia to contribute to promoting and tightening the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

For his part, Minister Counselor Doan Khac Hoang - Chargé d'Affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia respectfully thanked Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy, as well as the Lao Embassy in Russia, for the warm and sincere congratulations and sentiments that Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy, as well as the Lao Embassy in Russia, had given to the leaders of the Party, State and people of Vietnam in general, as well as the officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia in particular on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day.

On this occasion, Chargé d'Affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia Doan Khac Hoang reviewed the heroic historical moments of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Counselor Doan Khac Hoang affirmed that throughout history, the country and people of Laos have always accompanied the country and people of Vietnam; expressing his belief that the relationship between the two countries in general and the relationship between the two embassies in particular will be increasingly tightened, connected, and cooperation will be more and more effective in the new era of the Vietnamese nation.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the staff of the two embassies enjoyed traditional dishes of the two countries, sang songs praising the friendship between the two countries, and raised their glasses to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day, wishing for the special Vietnam-Laos relationship to be increasingly strengthened and developed.
