Leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented decisions on the transfer and appointment of Department-level officials.

On the afternoon of October 17, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Party Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong presented decisions on the transfer and appointment of Department-level leaders.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to temporarily transfer and appoint Mr. Doan Khanh Tam, former Deputy Director of the National Border Committee , to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Information and Documentation Center, Diplomatic Academy.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to receive and transfer Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, former First Secretary of the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia, who finished her term and returned to the country to work and hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Financial Administration.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to receive and transfer Mr. Chu Tuan Duc, former Minister Counselor, Second Person, Embassy of Vietnam in Germany, who finished his term and returned to the country to work and hold the position of Deputy Director, Department of Law and International Treaties.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to receive and transfer Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van, former Consul General of Vietnam in Battambang (Cambodia), who finished his term and returned to Vietnam to work and hold the position of Deputy Director of the Information and Documentation Center, Diplomatic Academy; and seconded Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van to work at the Department of Southeast Asia - South Asia - South Pacific to participate in the professional work of the unit.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to receive and transfer Mr. Phan Ho The Nam, Deputy Director of the Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs , who has finished his secondment at the Party Central Committee Office, to work and hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department, Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Office; and continue to perform the duties of Secretary, assisting comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ministry's Party Committee, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to receive and transfer Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, former Envoy, Second Person, Embassy of Vietnam in Japan, who finished his term and returned to the country to work and hold the position of Deputy Director, Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to receive and transfer Ms. To Minh Thu, former Minister Counselor, Second Person, Embassy of Vietnam in the UK, diplomatic wife of the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan, to return to the country after finishing her term to work and hold the position of Deputy Director of the Institute for Diplomatic Strategic Studies, Diplomatic Academy; and seconded Ms. To Minh Thu to work at the Department of Foreign Policy to participate in the professional work of the unit.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang for a term, completing the Internship as Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong congratulated the officials who had just received the decision and affirmed that this was the trust of the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Ministry's leaders in them. The Deputy Minister requested that regardless of their new positions, the comrades who had just received the decision today would promote their professional capacity, together with the collective leadership of the unit to promote their strengths, contributing to improving the foreign affairs activities of the Ministry and the unit, contributing to the development of the country in the coming time.

Representing the comrades who have just received the decision, Mr. Chu Tuan Duc and Ms. To Minh Thu thanked the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Ministry's leaders for their trust in them.

The newly appointed comrades affirmed that they will continuously contribute to the work of the unit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the whole country.
