The live show "The Steel Flower" by singer/songwriter in military uniform, Captain Hoang Hong Ngoc, will take place on the evening of August 8 at the Army Theater, Hanoi .
The music night marked the 10th anniversary of the Sao Mai crown, and the artist's 15th year on the singing career path.
No mass stars
The live show was directed by Hoang Hong Ngoc himself, with the participation of guests: Oplus group, "Sao Mai" Thu Thuy, Hong Duyen, Bich Ngoc, Le Minh Ngoc, two young artists Quang Huy, Mai Chi who just came out of Talent Rendezvous and Thu Hien (VK group).
Why doesn't Hoang Hong Ngoc invite famous artists who are familiar to the public to this important music night?
At the press conference on the afternoon of August 4, the artist said that in her live show, there is no concept of friends "playing background" for the main character, but all are companions who accompany her to perform her work in the most effective way.
She also expressed pride that "the show's guest artists may not be popular names, but they are all top stars of the army, who often perform at major military events or in front of high-ranking leaders of the country and military forces."
Through the live show Bong hoa anh thep , Hoang Hong Ngoc hopes that military singers will be more confident with their journey.
"I also hope that songs about soldiers and the army will go beyond the scope of internal performances and be included in major entertainment programs of the country or performed by entertainers, so that the image of soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army can reach a wider audience," she said.

The film tells the journey of the steel flower Hoang Hong Ngoc
Hoang Hong Ngoc and her crew chose the image of a lotus flower, reminiscent of the resilience and charm of female soldiers, as the symbol throughout the live show "Steel Flower" .
During her 15-year career, she has composed many songs about soldiers and singing about soldiers is Hoang Hong Ngoc’s endless passion. She also has songs about love, family affection, praising the homeland…
Hoang Hong Ngoc has won many awards: gold medals at the Army Professional Arts Festival in 2018, 2023, Chin Xanh Street Singing 2019, National Band Festival; silver medal at Army Game in the Russian Federation 2020, National Professional Arts Festival 2022...; A prize for composition 80 years - Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam 2024...
However, in this first live show, the artist carefully selected only 16 of the most representative songs to bring to the stage.
The program is like a film, telling the story of her life: from Nghe An to Hanoi to study, sing and join the army, becoming the "steel flower" she is today.
