This is a specific goal set by Dak Glong district in the implementation plan of the Investment Project to support the development of precious medicinal herb growing areas under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, Phase I, 2021-2025.
The district strives to establish a preservation, preliminary processing, processing and extraction area that meets standards by 2025; create at least 2 sustainable medicinal products with traceable origin and guaranteed quality.
The district applies information technology in building a system connecting the value chain of medicinal herbs and traditional medicine products with traceable origin, quality management; and trade promotion.
The district strives to create jobs and stable income for at least 300 local workers; of which at least 50% of the workers are ethnic minorities in the area.
