Dak Lak supports people affected by storm No. 13

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of November 12, a working delegation from Dak Lak province visited and presented gifts to support people severely affected by storm No. 13 in Xuan Canh and Xuan Loc communes in the province.

Leaders presented gifts to support local people.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Pham Dai Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Do Huu Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of the provincial National Assembly delegation, departments and branches.

The leaders of the working delegation visited and encouraged the households; shared the difficulties and losses of the people and local authorities; gave gifts to the people of 02 communes, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and restore production. Each commune received support of 120 million VND.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Huu Huy acknowledged the efforts and sense of responsibility of the government, frontline forces and people in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13. At the same time, he requested localities to concentrate resources and provide emergency support to households whose houses were damaged; quickly restore infrastructure, especially schools and medical stations; proactively coordinate with relevant departments and branches to receive timely support; ensure environmental sanitation and prevent epidemics after the storm.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Huu Huy acknowledged the efforts and sense of responsibility of the government, frontline forces and people in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13.

Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Pham Dai Duong expressed his sympathy and shared the difficulties of people in storm-affected areas and highly appreciated the proactive and urgent spirit of local Party committees, authorities and forces in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

“In times of trouble, the spirit of solidarity and mutual love of the people in the province is clearly demonstrated. I hope that the Party Committee and the government will continue to closely coordinate with the forces, promptly deploy measures to support the people, ensure fairness, and help the people soon stabilize their lives and production,” Mr. Pham Dai Duong emphasized.

On this occasion, visiting, encouraging and giving 10 million VND in support to the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Say in Chanh Loc village (Xuan Loc commune), who unfortunately died in storm No. 13, the working delegation sent their deep condolences, hoping that the family will soon overcome the pain and stabilize their lives./.
