Dak Nong does not disrupt administrative procedures when removing district level

Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requires units and localities to ensure smooth administrative procedures without interruption when operating two-level local government.

On the morning of June 3, TUV, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh chaired a meeting to deploy the arrangement and reorganization of public service units, handle administrative procedures after the end of district-level administrative units and prepare for the operation of 2-level local government.

At the meeting, departments, branches and localities focused on discussing and proposing many management plans, implementing the arrangement and reorganization of public service units. In particular, localities focused on proposing the effective operation of the system of district-level Project Management Boards.

Regarding this issue, Chairman of Dak R'lap District People's Committee Nguyen Quang Tu said that Dak R'lap Project Management Board is currently managing 45 projects. The unit is responsible for clearing about 580 hectares of land.

“We share difficulties and shortcomings to find solutions to effectively speed up progress. All administrative procedures for people and businesses must not be blocked or interrupted,” Vice President Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh directed.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that all levels of the sector accept decentralization and delegation of authority to ensure all work is smooth, continuous, and serves people and businesses promptly.

The People's Committees of districts and communes in the area shall arrange to completely handle administrative records and procedures according to the new instructions, ensuring enough time for the trial run until the official operation.

Dak Nong currently has 39 district-level public service units. In the education and training sector, there are 7 vocational training and continuing education centers. In the health sector, there are 8 district and city health centers. In the agriculture , environment, science and technology sectors, there are 8 technical service centers. The whole province has 8 project management and land fund development boards; 8 cultural, sports and communication centers at the district and city levels.
