Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspects the preparation of new commune and ward headquarters in Tan Chau

On the afternoon of May 6, a working delegation led by Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc inspected the plan to arrange and organize facilities for the headquarters of new communes and wards after implementing the 2-level government model in Tan Chau Town.

Representatives of provincial departments attended the meeting.

Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc requested the town to promptly update directive documents from the Central Government and the Provincial People's Committee.

The delegation went on a field survey in the localities.

Currently, the town is managing 239 real estate facilities; of which, 201 facilities continue to be used, 38 facilities are redundant.

The delegation visited the facilities in Tan An commune.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Standing Committee Member of the Town Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Tan Chau Town People's Committee Dang Van Ne and Vice Chairman of Tan Chau Town People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Minh.

Currently, the town is managing 239 real estate facilities; of which, 201 facilities continue to be used, 38 facilities are redundant (1 facility has been transferred to the Provincial Police). Regarding vehicles, the town has 7 public cars, including 4 shared cars and 3 specialized cars.

On this occasion, representatives of provincial departments and branches contributed many ideas and solutions to remove obstacles and support localities to soon complete infrastructure, ensuring that new communes and wards can operate effectively and without interruption from July 1, 2025.

Speaking at the direction, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc requested the town to promptly update the directive documents from the Central Government and the Provincial People's Committee, and at the same time, closely coordinate with departments and branches to implement synchronously, drastically, in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

Immediately after the working session, the working delegation visited the new commune and ward headquarters to assess the current situation and listen to difficulties and recommendations from the grassroots.
