Ensuring safety and construction progress of the exhibition of 80 years of achievements in the Education sector

Safety goes hand in hand with progress

The exhibition of the country's socio -economic achievements is held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) with the theme "80 years of the journey of independence, freedom, and happiness".

Through the reality, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Tan Dung emphasized that there are less than two weeks left until the official opening of the exhibition. This is the "sprint" stage for units to speed up the construction of the exhibition area of each ministry/locality. The highest goal is to ensure safety and progress during the construction of related items.

The inspection delegation led by Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung inspected the construction work at the exhibition area of 80 years of achievements of the Education sector.

"Over the past 80 years, the Education sector has had many outstanding achievements associated with each historical period of the country. The construction unit needs to closely follow the specific tasks assigned, and at the same time closely coordinate with departments, including the Ministry Office, to implement the corresponding tasks, in accordance with the requirements set out so that the work can proceed on schedule" - Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung suggested.

In addition, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Tan Dung also noted that the arrangement of artifacts and images in the exhibition area must ensure scientific, aesthetic and logical qualities to highlight the great achievements of the education sector in the 80-year process of building and developing the country; attracting a large number of people to visit and experience.

Prepare carefully from the beginning

As the unit assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training to come up with the design concept, a representative of the University of Industrial Fine Arts said that the exhibition area of the Ministry of Education and Training at the exhibition is about 400 square meters wide, located right in the main hall of the Exhibition Center, close to the exhibition booths of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, the State Bank, and the Ministry of Construction.

With the idea of "Education is the root" - the space of the exhibition area is designed with the image of a large tree in the middle, surrounded by images of educational achievements through different periods of the country including: The period before August 1945 - 1954; 1954 - 1975; 1975 - 1986 and from 1986 to present with corresponding themes.

Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training also organized many working conferences with departments/offices/units and representatives of the education sector in some localities on the preparation, collection, classification, and display of artifacts, images, and documents for the exhibition of 80 years of achievements in the education sector.

Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh said that after merging the administrative boundaries of the three provinces of Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh from July 1, Ninh Binh province now has a fairly large museum system containing many valuable documents, images and artifacts about the 80-year process of building and developing the country as well as the previous period.

"We have coordinated with the provincial Department of Culture and Sports to complete the collection and selection of related artifacts and documents and send them to the Ministry of Education and Training to serve the display at the 80th anniversary of the Education sector exhibition area. With the drastic and synchronous participation of related units, we believe that the exhibition will be successfully organized according to plan," informed Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training Nguyen Tien Dung.
