Ensuring the quality of agricultural products exported to the Chinese market

In particular, strict inspection and tightening of control of yellow O or Cadmium residues in durian have reduced the export turnover of Vietnamese fruits and vegetables to the Chinese market in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period. Currently, Chinese authorities are also perfecting management mechanisms and policies on quality standards, tightening inspection, quarantine, food safety, etc. Therefore, the Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son requested the relevant departments of localities with agricultural products and fresh fruits exported through border gates to pay attention to coordinating the implementation of some specific contents.

Regarding this issue, the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan has just requested relevant sectors, localities, units, and associations to coordinate in widely disseminating the above information to enterprises, cooperatives, production, processing and export establishments of agricultural products and fresh fruits in the locality. Along with that, strengthen supervision of care, harvesting, preservation, packaging, standardization of production processes, product standardization... to ensure product quality standards according to the requirements of the import market.

In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan will continue to monitor and update information from the authorities to grasp the situation of import and export activities through the border gates of the northern border provinces.
