Ensuring medical work for the High School Graduation Exam and university and vocational education admissions in 2025

(LĐ online) - On June 5, the Lam Dong Department of Health directed the provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department, the provincial Center for Disease Control, provincial general hospitals; medical centers, health departments of districts and cities; on ensuring medical work to serve the High School Graduation Exam and university and vocational education admissions in 2025.

Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Health on ensuring medical work to serve the High School Graduation Exam and university and vocational education admissions in 2025, the Department of Health of Lam Dong province assigned the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene and requested the Health Departments of districts and cities in Lam Dong province to preside over and coordinate with district-level health centers to strengthen inspection and supervision of food safety and hygiene at food and street food establishments in the area according to decentralization during the exam period. Strictly handle cases of violations of food safety regulations (if any). At the same time, strengthen propaganda and dissemination of food safety measures on the media.

Lam Dong Provincial Center for Disease Control proactively implements measures to monitor, prevent and control epidemics such as dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease, acute diarrhea, measles, etc., reporting immediately when an epidemic occurs in the area and in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Health .

The medical center coordinates with the health departments of districts and cities to strengthen inspection and supervision of disease prevention and control in the area, especially at the 2025 high school graduation exam sites. Establish mobile anti-epidemic teams and be ready to deploy response measures when an epidemic occurs; provide the phone numbers of officers in charge of disease prevention and control to the exam sites so that leaders of the exam sites can contact when infectious disease cases are detected and promptly handle outbreaks, preventing the disease from spreading to the community.

Guide and support examination sites in carrying out environmental sanitation, disinfection, turning over water containers to kill mosquito larvae, clearing bushes, spraying chemicals to kill mosquitoes (if meeting the prescribed conditions)... at examination sites.

The Provincial General Hospital and Lam Dong II Hospital are ready with facilities, personnel, equipment, medicine, and chemicals to promptly provide emergency care to cases transferred from the Examination Councils; at the same time, confirm the health status of candidates when they come for medical examination and treatment during the exam period to serve the special graduation consideration.

Medical centers of districts and cities prepare facilities, vehicles, medicines, chemicals, etc.; establish mobile emergency teams, arrange enough medicines, vehicles and ambulances on duty at the unit, be ready to support medical staff of the Examination Councils in treating officials and candidates who are sick or need emergency care during the exam period, provide the phone number of the emergency team to the Examination Councils in the districts and cities; at the same time, confirm the health status of candidates when coming for medical examination and treatment during the exam period to serve the special graduation consideration.
