Ensure adequate supply of gasoline in Quang Tri province

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong has just signed and issued Document No. 508/UBND-TCTM, dated January 25, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing solutions to ensure the supply of gasoline for production, business and consumption in the province.

Accordingly, it is requested that relevant departments, branches, sectors, units, and localities, depending on their functions and tasks, take the lead and coordinate in guiding documents and procedures, creating favorable conditions for businesses in the area to carry out business activities and supply gasoline; supervise gasoline business activities in the locality, ensure that businesses comply with current legal regulations; and supervise the quality of gasoline in the management area.

Propose timely coordination solutions to ensure adequate supply for production and consumption, avoiding supply disruptions. Organize an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect compliance with the law on petroleum trading activities in the province in 2024 and strictly handle violations in petroleum trading activities.

Strengthening inspection, examination and supervision of tax declaration and payment and urging the implementation of obligations to the state budget of petroleum trading enterprises; combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.

Strictly control smuggling, especially on the border and sea. Strengthen propaganda and encourage businesses and people to use gasoline economically and effectively. Strengthen fire prevention, fire fighting, security and order and environmental protection for gasoline business establishments according to regulations.

Enterprises with petroleum business activities in the province proactively ensure the supply of petroleum for retail sale to serve the production, business and consumption needs of people in the province, absolutely not allowing the situation of supply shortage or shortage of goods for retail sale to occur. Comply with the posting of sales time and retail price of petroleum at stores according to regulations.

Strictly prohibit fraudulent acts of weighing and measuring in petroleum business activities, especially petroleum retail activities. In cases of temporary suspension of sales, it is necessary to ensure compliance with the regulations in Decision No. 1394/QD-UBND, dated September 11, 2015 of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province. Share the supply and profits in the distribution system for agents and petroleum retail stores in a reasonable manner.
