Ensure the most complete and thoughtful preparation for the defense zone exercise

On the afternoon of September 5, Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Content Committee, Head of the Exercise Assurance Committee of Khanh Hoa province chaired a conference on assurance work for the 2023 provincial defense area combined civil defense exercise.

At the conference, delegates who are members of the Security Committee basically agreed with the content of the draft plan to ensure the 2023 provincial defense combined civil defense exercise; at the same time, focused on discussing and proposing additional opinions and adjustments to some contents such as: Urgently deploying and completing the work of ensuring domestic water and electricity sources at the simulated combat base; reasonably arranging accommodation and transportation for the training frame and visiting delegates...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Huu Hoang acknowledged and highly appreciated the responsibility and efforts of the members in the past time in directing their agencies, units and localities in deploying and coordinating the implementation of the exercise assurance work to achieve good results; at the same time, he requested the members of the Exercise Assurance Board to continue to promote the highest responsibility, be active, proactive and united to carry out the most complete and thoughtful assurance work for the exercise. In which, the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) received and synthesized the opinions at the conference to supplement and soon complete the plan to request the direction of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee; presided over and coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade and Khanh Hoa Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company to unify the implementation of ensuring domestic water supply at the simulated combat base serving the exercise. The provincial police preside over and coordinate with relevant units to arrange equipment at regular command posts and simulated combat bases, practice areas, viewing stands for A2 situation handling drills, fire and explosion response at high-rise buildings, coordinate with the provincial Military Command to develop plans to ensure security and safety against fire and explosion at drill areas, organize forces to guard and direct traffic for mobile forces at practice areas. The provincial Border Guard Command presides over and coordinates with the provincial Military Command, the provincial Police, departments, branches and localities to do a good job of preparing for the drill to operate the mechanism and practice responding to rescue at sea. The Department of Information and Communications presides over and coordinates with the provincial Military Command and relevant agencies to ensure smooth communication at drill areas. Khanh Hoa Electricity Joint Stock Company ensures 24/24 hour power supply at drill areas. The Department of Health conducts disinfection spraying to prevent epidemics in the drill area and ensures food safety and hygiene for the forces participating in the drill; ensures forces, vehicles, medicine, and combat duty at the drill areas and is ready to handle any medical situations that may arise...
