Stars perform at Ho Guom Theater to raise 1.15 billion VND to support people in flood-hit areas

On the evening of October 22, at Ho Guom Theater, a special art program to raise funds to support people affected by storms and floods, "Lighting up love", was held. This program was assigned by the Department of Political Affairs to Ho Guom Theater in coordination with Vietart Media Joint Stock Company, with the participation of many famous artists in the spirit of volunteering.

With the participation of Thao Van, Le Anh, Thu Ha, the program spread the spirit of mutual love, aroused solidarity and sharing in times of hardship, noble acts of philanthropists, artists and especially the kindness of everyone. Also in the program, the artists brought to the audience a special music night, with many famous works newly arranged, performed by leading singers.

People's Artist Thai Bao, Guitarist Hai Hoang, Saxophone Bao Anh opened the program impressively with the song " Hanoi in the season of fallen leaves" - a composition by musician Vo Quoc Tru. The appearance of singer Quang Dung with "Hanoi on the day of return" (poetry: Thanh Tung; music: Phu Quang) and a duet with singer Pham Thu Ha - the song "Co nhau tron ​​doi" (composer: Duc Tri) was a pleasant surprise for the audience in the capital. "Semi-classical nightingale" Pham Thu Ha also gave the audience of the program other special gifts, including the song "Bai ca hy hop" (composer: Van Ky) and a performance with Meritorious Artist Dang Duong - the mashup "Tinh ca, Tinh em".

Trung Quan also left beautiful impressions in the music night with many songs: "Tra lai cho em", "Uoc mo cua me", "Ba di dau ma mai chuyen ve".

People's Artist Tan Minh was full of depth with the work "Mother" (lyrics: Hong Thanh Quang, music: Tran Tien). Meanwhile, People's Artist Thu Huyen also made an impressive comeback with Thao Quyen, Hera Club with the ancient Cheo "Co Doi Thuong Ngan"; collaborating with Ngo Tue Man with the work "Kiep Sau Van Nguoi Viet Nam".

The success of the music night cannot be mentioned without mentioning the role of the Bien Dong Band of the CAND Music and Dance Theater. In addition to the musical accompaniment for the singers, the band brought a bustling atmosphere, with a call to arms – the song “Let’s go” by musicians Luu Huu Phuoc, Huynh Van Tieng…

At the program, many philanthropists joined hands with the Organizing Committee to raise funds to support people affected by recent storms and floods. Of which, Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) donated 400 million VND, Geleximco Group donated 500 million VND, Vietnam Investment and Development Bank, Thang Long branch donated 30 million VND... The Organizing Committee said that the total amount of funds raised to support people through the program reached 1.15 billion VND.
