The Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations awarded prizes for the competition on protecting the ideological foundation of the Party.

On the afternoon of December 17th, in Hanoi, the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the first political essay contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, 2025, was held for the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations.

Attending the event were Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Launched in February 2025, the competition was well-organized, diverse in form and communication channels; focusing on clarifying the political significance, theoretical and practical value of the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai and representatives from various ministries, departments, and organizations attended the ceremony.

With 100% of Party organizations under the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations responding enthusiastically, the competition received nearly 600 entries after three months of implementation.

Commenting on the quality of the entries, Comrade Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, said: "This is a broad form of political activity that contributes to raising the awareness and responsibility of cadres, Party members, union members, and association members in protecting the ideological foundation of the Party and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints."

Through review, classification, and preliminary and final judging, the organizing committee found that many articles clearly demonstrated serious investment, rigorous argumentation, and a strong adherence to reality; they promptly refuted erroneous and hostile viewpoints; and clarified new issues arising in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the context of digital transformation and the information explosion on the internet.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 10 consolation prizes; and commended 5 Party organizations with a large number of entries and high-quality submissions.

At the national-level competition, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations was one of the 20 outstanding collectives nationwide, and six authors/groups of authors won high prizes.

On this occasion, the organizing committee launched the second political essay contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, to be held in 2026, within the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations.
