2 stages of registration for primary school admission

Accordingly, District 1 People's Committee stipulates that registration for primary school admission will be carried out in 2 stages:

Phase 1: From May 12 to June 5, parents access the Department of Education and Training's primary school admissions page at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to review the information of registered students.

Phase 2: From June 10 to June 23, parents access the primary school admissions page https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to register for admission. Parents enter the student's identification code, check the information and choose a location to register for admission. The District 1 Admissions Steering Committee prioritizes accepting all students on the allocated list.

The Chairman of District 1 People's Committee requested the People's Committees of the wards where students reside to support parents in registering their children for kindergarten and first grade. Primary schools support parents in registering their children for sixth grade. Parents can contact kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools for support.

From June 24, the District 1 Admissions Steering Committee will base on the plan to mobilize children to attend classes and enroll students in primary classes and the district's enrollment data on the system to allocate study places, and can apply the digital map ofthe education sector (GIS map) for reference. Parents can access the primary enrollment page at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to view enrollment results.

Also according to the admission plan for the first level of District 1, on July 6, the district will announce the admission results of advanced and internationally integrated schools. From July 6 to 5:00 p.m. on July 10, parents confirm their admission online at: https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn and submit their admission application directly to the school.

For the remaining schools, the district admissions board will announce the results on July 17. From July 17 to 5 p.m. on July 19, parents confirm enrollment online at: https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn and submit the admission application directly to the school.

Based on the plan to mobilize children to attend classes and enroll them in the first grade classes, and the schools' ability to accept more students, the first grade enrollment steering committee will review the second round. Registration time is from July 20 to 5:00 p.m. on July 23. Results will be announced on August 10. Time to confirm online enrollment and submit direct enrollment documents is from August 10 to 11.

Also in the primary enrollment plan, District 1 announced that for the 2023-2024 school year, there will be 15 public kindergartens, including Be Ngoan Kindergarten, Ben Thanh Kindergarten, and 30/4 Kindergarten, which will implement advanced school models and international integration.

Primary schools enrolling first graders in the integrated English program include: Dinh Tien Hoang, Nguyen Binh Khiem, Hoa Binh , Le Ngoc Han, Tran Hung Dao, Luong The Vinh, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Nguyen Hue, and Ket Doan primary schools. Nguyen Thai Hoc primary school enrolls first graders according to the advanced, internationally integrated school model.

Huynh Khuong Ninh Secondary School (advanced, international integration school), Van Lang, Tran Van On, Minh Duc, Vo Truong Toan, Duc Tri, Dong Khoi, Chu Van An are enrolling students for 6th grade English enhancement. Tran Van On Secondary School is enrolling students for 6th grade French. Vo Truong Toan Secondary School is enrolling students for 6th grade Japanese. Minh Duc Secondary School is enrolling students for 6th grade Chinese (second foreign language).

According to the enrollment plan for the first grade of District 1, the 6th grade integrated English program enrolls students at Huynh Khuong Ninh, Tran Van On, Minh Duc, Vo Truong Toan, Nguyen Du Secondary Schools, and Luong The Vinh High School (no more than 35 students/class).
