Tailoring training for 35 drug addicts

QTO - On the afternoon of November 28, Quang Tri Technical College coordinated with Quang Tri Province Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 1 and Nam Hai Garment Company Limited to hold a ceremony to sign vocational training regulations and open a garment sewing class for drug addicts undergoing rehabilitation at the facility.

The garment industry is chosen to suit the living conditions, social needs and learning ability of the students. During the 2-month training period, 35 students will be equipped with basic knowledge and skills of the garment industry. At the end of the training course, qualified students will be awarded a vocational training certificate.

After completing the drug rehabilitation program, with the vocational skills they have been trained in, students can create jobs for themselves or have more opportunities to find jobs, earn income to support themselves, stabilize their lives and not relapse into drug addiction.
