The Mark of the Front

The year 2024 marked a year of determined innovation and proactive action from the Fatherland Front system, from the central to the grassroots level. Under the common roof, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has united the entire nation towards the goal of ushering the country into an era of national progress, building a country that is increasingly prosperous and beautiful, and ensuring a life of abundance and happiness for the people.

Looking back over the past year, we can see that the coordinated and unified action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has been organized and implemented with a focus on key areas, applying flexibility and creativity, and adapting to the actual situation. With continuous efforts, proactiveness, and creativity, the Fatherland Front at all levels has overcome all difficulties and successfully completed its tasks with many outstanding achievements.

1. The congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term were successfully concluded, creating a strong ripple effect among the people.

2. Vigorously implement and summarize the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017, of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on "Some issues concerning the continued reform and restructuring of the organizational apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective, and efficient."

3. Complete 5,000 houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and 500 houses for poor households in Lai Chau, Son La, Lao Cai, Hoa Binh, and Yen Bai provinces.

4. Organize a meeting to express gratitude to the soldiers of Dien Bien Phu, the youth volunteers, and the civilian workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

5. Mobilizing agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals both domestically and internationally to join hands in supporting the people of 26 northern provinces and cities in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi). For the first time, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front promptly directed the "statement" and public disclosure of support sources and timely allocation to localities affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi).

6. Organize the 2024 National Unity Day in residential areas nationwide in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement.

7. The Central Emulation and Commendation Council, in coordination with the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, will launch the nationwide emulation movement to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025.

8. Successfully organized the 16th National Unity Journalism Award, 2023-2024.

9. The 5th Conference of Presidents of the Fronts of the three countries Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam concluded successfully.

10. Emphasis was placed on listening to the thoughts and aspirations of ethnic minority people: Successfully coordinating the organization of the second "Village Support Program"; the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front met with ethnic minority and mountainous people in the Central Highlands provinces.
