Promoting "Three Links" in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

The Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to organize the launching program of the Peak Day "Volunteering to join hands to build new rural areas" and Green Sunday 2025 in Cun Pheo commune, Mai Chau district.

2025 marks the 26th anniversary of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. The campaign has become familiar and indispensable in youth volunteer activities. From the beginning of the year, the Provincial Youth Union directed grassroots Youth Union organizations to focus on implementing the "3 links" policy and synchronous digital transformation in all aspects of work. Along with promoting the history and traditions of the Youth Union, grassroots Youth Unions have focused on organizing many activities to care for, accompany and promote the role of young people. Deploying projects and tasks for young people to participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas and the movement of starting a business, establishing a career, innovating and creating. Many pioneering and volunteer activities for the community have been deployed such as voluntary blood donation, environmental sanitation, tree planting, maintaining traffic order and safety, building green - clean - beautiful - civilized - safe urban areas, etc.

Through the implementation of the "3 links" policy, the Youth Union bases have implemented volunteer activities more and more practically and effectively. 100% of the Youth Union bases in the whole province have carried out "linking forces" with the police, military, workers, women, farmers and people in organizing activities... Along with that, promoting the "linking of areas" between urban and rural areas in implementing movements, the youth of the whole province mobilized resources to support disadvantaged villages and communes, remote areas, and localities that are completing the criteria for building new rural areas. Regarding "community links", the Youth Union and Association actively coordinated and joined hands with clubs, teams, groups, religious organizations, and volunteer organizations to connect resources to organize social security activities...

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Luan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: This year, the TNTN Campaign will take place from April to August 2025 with 1 program and 4 campaigns. These are the program "Supporting the exam season" and the campaigns: "Green summer", "Red phoenix flower", "Pink vacation", "Green march". From the implementation of the "3 links" policy, volunteer activities are organized on a large scale, attracting many participants, and more abundant support resources are mobilized. Volunteer activities not only bring practical values ​​to the community, but also create an environment for union members and young people to demonstrate their pioneering, creative, dedicated and mature spirit. Contributing to the formation of a generation of young people who live beautifully, have courage, intelligence, health, and social practice skills, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Every summer, union members and young people volunteer to go on the road, not afraid of difficulties and hardships, bringing with them their intelligence and youthful energy, ready to go to remote areas with specific actions and work. "This year, the goal is to attract 50,000 youth union members to participate in volunteer activities; support the removal of at least 10 temporary and dilapidated houses; plant at least 150,000 new trees; organize 50 free swimming classes for children; ensure that each commune, ward and town has at least 1 "Digital Education for the People" team; train at least 300 young people on entrepreneurship knowledge, introduce jobs to at least 500 young people; carry out at least 20 youth projects and tasks... We believe that, with the enthusiastic spirit of the youth, the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign will contribute to the local Party Committee and authorities in caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of people in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas.
