According to the report from the Power Project Management Board 2 (EVN), the overall progress of the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant Project has reached 94.47%. Of which, the design progress is 99.6%, the procurement progress is 99.5%, the construction and installation progress is 86.55%, and the calibration testing progress is 7.8%. The coal warehouse, slag dump, cooling water receiving channel, cooling water pipeline, and fresh water supply pipeline are being constructed, meeting the overall progress of the project....
At a recent meeting between EVN Deputy General Director Nguyen Tai Anh and Mr. Hoang Nam, Permanent Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee on the site clearance situation of projects under Quang Trach Power Center, to promote project progress and ensure the set goals, Power Project Management Board 2 requested Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee to consider and direct relevant departments, branches and sectors together with Phu Trach Commune People's Committee to speed up the appraisal and approval of compensation plans for outstanding cases; urgently complete the relocation of Vinh Son communal house; review all recommendations to have measures to mobilize households to receive money and hand over the site; focus on completing the construction of resettlement areas; support the implementation of fire prevention and fighting work...
According to Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam, the projects of Quang Trach Power Center are large-scale, supplying electricity to the national power system, contributing to socio -economic development, increasing the province's budget revenue, and creating jobs for local people.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in implementing projects of Power Project Management Board 2, EVN and departments, branches and localities.
Regarding EVN's recommendations and proposals, Mr. Hoang Nam directed relevant departments, branches and localities to promptly resolve them as soon as possible. Specifically, for site clearance work, departments, branches and localities must complete it before August 15; complete the relocation of Vinh Son communal house before September 2. Relevant departments and branches must closely coordinate with EVN to remove difficulties and obstacles so that construction projects can be carried out on schedule.
