Vingroup and Sacombank shares hit the ceiling, causing VN-Index to increase by more than 54 points.

The upward momentum of the stock market was maintained until the end of the session on April 11 with the number of stocks hitting the ceiling higher than in the morning. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 54.12 points, equivalent to an increase of 4.63% to 1,222.46 points and the HNX-Index increased by 5.03 points, equivalent to an increase of 2.41% to 213.34 points. Even the UPCoM-Index, which had fallen at times in the morning, recovered and increased by 0.44% to 93.25 points.

Many stocks continue to rise, bringing the VN-Index up more than 54 points.

Leading the increase were blue-chip stocks. In the VN30 basket, by the end of the session, 5 stocks had increased to the maximum limit, including HPG, MWG, VIC, STB and GAS. Of which, VIC stock of Vingroup Corporation, after some struggles, increased to the maximum limit to 65,100 VND. Or STB stock of Sacombank from the previous reference level was also bought strongly by investors and turned purple to 37,850 VND. In addition, some financial and banking stocks also increased to the ceiling at the end of the session, such as ACB , VCB, SSI, TPB, MBB... In this session, the group of stocks VCB, VIC, BID and CTG were the stocks that had the most positive impact on the VN-Index.

According to statistics, the information technology industry is the group with the strongest growth momentum with 5.28% mainly coming from the codes FPT , CMG, CMT and ITD. Followed by the finance and non-essential consumer sectors with increases of 5.1% and 4.88% respectively.

In total, after two sessions, VN-Index increased by nearly 130 points, equivalent to an increase of 12%, and regained the threshold of 1,200 points. The capitalization of the entire stock market also recorded an increase of 700,000 billion VND, equivalent to an increase of about 27 billion USD. For investors who bought in the lowest session on April 9, today the stocks have reached their accounts and many codes have made a profit of 15 - 20%. This profit level far exceeds other investment channels after only two days.

The increase of VN-Index in this session was the highest in the Asian market. Many Asian stock markets were strongly differentiated with alternating increases and decreases. In the increasing group, there were markets in China, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Bangladesh... and conversely, in the decreasing group, there were markets in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, South Korea...
