Cho Lach focuses on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses

To implement the determination of the District Party Committee, People's Committee and People's Council, the Steering Committee for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Cho Lach district issued Plan No. 01-KH/BCĐ dated March 3, 2025 to implement the mobilization and support for the construction and elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district in 2025.

In 2025, the district has 181 households in need of support. The support level for building new houses or renovating and repairing houses for meritorious households, poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances living in temporary houses or dilapidated houses is 60 million VND/household for building new houses and 30 million VND/household for renovating and repairing houses. Depending on the actual situation of the mobilized sources and the requirements of the sponsoring unit, the amount may be higher.

Up to now, the district has implemented phase 1 of 48 houses, started construction of 37 houses; the remaining 11 houses, the district directed communes and towns to continue to complete the documents. Phase 2, the district continues to implement 87 houses; of which, 56 new houses are built, 31 houses are repaired.
