Specifically, Vietnam-Japan University - VNU has just announced adjustments to regular university enrollment information for 2025.
Accordingly, the entry requirement for the Semiconductor Chip Engineering Technology program regarding the total score of all subjects in the admission combination reaching at least 24/30 and the minimum score of the Math exam reaching 8 points has been removed.
Candidates wishing to receive support from the Program "Developing human resources for the semiconductor industry to 2030, with a vision to 2050" under Decision 1017/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister must meet the requirements prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
In 2025, Vietnam Japan University will use 12 admission combinations for this program. All combinations include Mathematics and at least one Natural Science subject.

In addition, recently, the Global Development and Innovation (BGDI) program - International Studies of the school also reached a cooperation agreement with the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Accordingly, students have more opportunities to study and experience in Germany.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Training and Student Affairs, Vietnam Japan University - VNU, said that this cooperation marks a new step in the effort to build a multi-dimensional, international learning environment for students, while contributing to improving professional capacity and expanding academic cooperation opportunities for the program's teaching staff.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will implement a student and lecturer exchange program starting from February 2027, when the BGDI Program officially operates entirely in English. Accordingly, the Berlin University of Applied Sciences will send professors and students to teach and study at the Vietnam-Japan University. In return, 5 BGDI students with excellent academic achievements will be selected to participate in the exchange program in Germany for one semester. This is an opportunity for students to experience the modern, multicultural and practical academic environment in Germany.

As a pioneer program in international training, in 2025, BGDI will enroll students in the International Studies major (major code: 7310601) with a target of 100 students and a minimum admission score of 19 points. The program is designed entirely in English, aiming to train a generation of global citizens with critical thinking, leadership skills, innovation and the ability to adapt to global issues in an interdisciplinary, multicultural environment.
According to Mr. Phuong, the program stands out with its international faculty from many countries such as Japan, Germany, Australia, the US... and a network of prestigious academic partners such as Waseda University (Japan), Berlin University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Deakin University (Australia), University of Minnesota (USA),... Students studying the program not only experience a multilingual, multicultural environment, but also intern at Japanese and international businesses, thereby accumulating practical experience and improving professional skills.
