The first locality to complete the reproductive health care/family planning campaign

After more than 1 month of implementation, Huong Khe district has completed the reproductive health care - family planning campaign.

Proactively developing plans and consulting early on funding sources for population activities, from March 10, Huong Khe District Medical Center launched a campaign for reproductive health care - family planning (RH/FP) throughout the district.

The well-organized plan, combined with the attention of local authorities at all levels, the propaganda and campaign work was successful beyond expectations.

After more than 1 month of implementation in 21/21 communes and towns, Huong Khe has completed the reproductive health/family planning campaign. This is also the first locality in Ha Tinh to complete the first phase of the campaign in 2023.

The Reproductive Health Care/Family Planning campaign implemented in Huong Vinh commune received enthusiastic response from the people.

The district organized 45 thematic talks for more than 1,000 people, and more than 700 couples of childbearing age received small group counseling. The first phase of the reproductive health care/family planning campaign in Huong Khe also examined nearly 2,000 people, of whom more than 1,000 people applied contraceptive methods, reaching 93% of the plan.

Typical communes are: Huong Xuan (90%), Huong Vinh (84%), Hoa Hai (83.7%), Phuc Trach (83.7%), Phu Gia (82.8%) and Huong Giang (81%)...
