Recently, the sanitary napkin brand Diana Vietnam organized a new promotional campaign with the appearance of rapper Negav (real name Dang Thanh An) as a special guest.

Immediately after that, many consumers reacted strongly, criticizing this brand. In response to the backlash, Diana also apologized, admitting that she did not control well in choosing artists, letting personal feelings influence her decision.

Ms. Quynh An, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi City, affirmed that she will boycott the brand and switch to another brand after the incident. “The company’s message is to honor and protect women. But the staff invited a person who has many offensive statements and disrespects women to organize the event,” she said indignantly.

According to the National Business Registration Portal, Diana Unicharm Joint Stock Company, established in April 2007, is the owner of the Diana sanitary napkin brand, belonging to the Japanese Unicharm Group.

The company produces products for women, children and the elderly such as sanitary napkins, diapers, tissues, and masks with brands such as Diana, Bobby, Caryn, 3D Mask, and Silicot.
