Recently, the sanitary napkin brand Diana Vietnam organized a new promotional campaign with the appearance of rapper Negav (real name Dang Thanh An) as a special guest.
Immediately after that, many consumers reacted strongly, criticizing this brand. In response to the backlash, Diana also apologized, admitting that she did not control well in choosing artists, letting personal feelings influence her decision.
“This is a serious omission and we take full responsibility. Currently, Diana has no plans to select any official representative for the brand," Diana announced. The company also stated that it has reviewed the process of selecting guest artists, considering and applying strict disciplinary measures to related individuals...

Although the brand has apologized, many consumers are still upset, and many have even declared a boycott of the brand. Negav has not yet commented.
Ms. Quynh An, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi City, affirmed that she will boycott the brand and switch to another brand after the incident. “The company’s message is to honor and protect women. But the staff invited a person who has many offensive statements and disrespects women to organize the event,” she said indignantly.
