On June 13, Nghe An Department of Education and Training announced that the unit has just announced the 10th grade entrance exam scores for the 2025-2026 school year .
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year is the first exam to be conducted according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program with a new exam structure, closely following the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, with high practicality and applicability.
"After announcing the 10th grade entrance exam scores, in the next few days, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province will announce the admission scores to schools," a representative of the provincial Department of Education and Training informed.
This year, Nghe An province has more than 39,000 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to 69 public schools in the province. Meanwhile, the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has more than 1,700 candidates.
In 2025, candidates will take 3 subjects, including Math, Literature in 120 minutes and English in 60 minutes. Of which, there will be a written test for Math and Literature, and an objective test for English with 40 questions.
Compared to last year, the number of candidates taking the exam this year is about 4,000 less. While the quota for schools has not changed much compared to last year, this year's exam is considered easier. Vinh City has the most candidates with about more than 5,000 students.
The score for the 10th grade entrance exam for Math and Literature is the sum of the component scores of each question in the exam, the score is given on a 10-point scale, rounded to 0.25. Meanwhile, the score for the Foreign Language exam is the sum of the scores of all the questions in the exam, each question is worth 0.25 points. The three exams for Math, Literature, and English are all calculated with a coefficient of 1.
The admission score is the total score of the 3 exams and additional points for priority and incentive candidates. Admitted candidates must not have any exam with a score of 0.
