Forum 'Culture with Business': Awakening breakthrough power in businesses

(CLO) On November 10, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association for the Development of Corporate Culture (VNABC) in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) held a press conference to introduce the annual National Forum "Culture with Enterprises".

The forum aims to spread cultural values ​​in business and promote breakthrough thinking in the Vietnamese business community.

This year's "Annual National Forum on Culture and Enterprises" has special significance in concretizing the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, affirming the role of business culture as a new driving force for sustainable development of the country, contributing to spreading values ​​of standards, responsibility and humanity in the Vietnamese business community.

Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, spoke at the press conference.

At the press conference, Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: " The forum is not only a place to spread cultural values ​​in business but also an opportunity to encourage creativity and innovation in the Vietnamese business community, contributing to the current development of the country".

Ms. Thuy added that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has worked with the Vietnam Association for Corporate Culture Development to develop an implementation plan with the goal of conveying strong messages from the Party and State in developing culture in businesses.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 "Culture with Enterprises" Forum will focus on 4 main objectives: Identifying and analyzing the impacts of breakthrough thinking on the process of shaping Vietnamese corporate culture; creating a space for multi-dimensional dialogue between Party and State leaders and the business community; creating new values ​​for Vietnamese business culture, focusing on thinking to sustainable breakthroughs; launching key initiatives and honoring qualified business culture enterprises.

Notably, at the press conference, the 2025 Criteria Set was also announced to be revised, streamlined from 30 criteria to 25 criteria, and focused on finding specific evidence of work and results achieved instead of just evaluating through books and documents.

According to Mr. Mac Quoc Anh - Vice President and General Secretary of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in Hanoi, Head of the Forum Organizing Committee, shared: " This year is the first time the Vietnam Association for the Development of Corporate Culture has announced the Set of Vietnamese Business Cultural Values. This is one of the breakthrough efforts to establish a comprehensive system of standards, creating a reference framework for Vietnamese enterprises to build a sustainable business culture, meeting the requirements of integration".

The set of Vietnamese business cultural values ​​includes: Fundamental ideological values; Core values; Behavioral standards; Business ethics principles; Criteria for implementing corporate culture.

In addition, the Forum will have two main discussion sessions: Session 1 - Identifying breakthrough thinking that impacts Vietnamese business culture and Session 2 - Shaping and developing Vietnamese business culture in the new era. Thereby, promoting the development of Vietnamese business culture in the new era.

Within the framework of the forum, the organizing committee announced and honored enterprises that have met the Vietnamese Business Culture standards in 2025, and awarded certificates of merit from the Prime Minister to outstanding enterprises.

Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Head of the organizing committee of the campaign "Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture", Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Developing Corporate Culture spoke at the press conference.

Also at the press conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Business Culture Development Association Ho Anh Tuan added that after many years of implementation, more than 74 enterprises have been awarded the certificate of Enterprise meeting Vietnamese Business Culture standards. And the above certificates are all time-limited, ensuring the rights of all enterprises.

The annual forum “Culture with Enterprises” in 2025 is scheduled to be held on December 21 in Hanoi.
