(Chinhphu.vn) - EVNSPC has issued a document directing its affiliated units to ensure electricity for activities celebrating the 80th National Day, September 2.

Accordingly, all power units in the 8 southern provinces and cities must not carry out work that requires stopping or reducing power supply, causing power outages to customers during the National Day holiday in 2025, from 0:00 on August 30 to 24:00 on September 2, 2025, except in cases of incident handling.

EVNSPC requires its affiliated power companies to closely coordinate with the Southern Power System Dispatch Center (SSO) to develop and implement a plan to ensure absolutely safe and stable power supply to serve the activities celebrating the 80th National Day on September 2.

Specifically, arranging the method of operating the power source and grid reasonably ensures safety and reliability under normal conditions and flexible conversion in case of incidents.

Prioritize ensuring electricity at locations where political and cultural activities take place in localities, paying special attention to ensuring electricity for important locations in the area such as: Headquarters of Party and State leadership agencies, national defense and security, leadership agencies in provinces/cities, central and local radio and television agencies, hospitals, clean water production facilities.

Develop and implement plans to ensure electricity for the load, including plans to supply electricity, ensure security, safety and fire prevention. Direct the electricity management teams to coordinate with local authorities, police and military to develop and implement plans to protect security, order, safety and fire prevention for electrical works, agency headquarters, warehouses, etc.

Organize on-duty staff to strengthen leadership, operate and repair electricity 24/24 hours during holidays. Re-establish on-duty shifts at 110 kV transformer stations to ensure absolutely safe power supply to important areas. Prepare adequate supplies, spare equipment, communication systems and means of transport, ready to quickly handle any problems that arise.

Coordinate with local authorities and media agencies to organize propaganda and widely disseminate measures for safe and economical use of electricity to electricity customers, propagate prevention and strictly handle cases of shooting metal-coated paper fireworks, flying kites and throwing objects onto power lines, violating power lines, etc.

The SCADA Operation Center organizes on-duty leaders and operational staff to serve the power supply management and related tasks to ensure the SCADA system operates stably and continuously 24/7 during holidays.

Southern Power Information Technology Company organizes leaders and staff to operate the network system/programs serving the power supply management, ensuring that the computer network system, communication system, etc. operate stably and continuously 24/7 during holidays.
