In Vinh Phuc , since the beginning of April 2025, Vinh Phuc Electricity Company has urgently organized inspections and reviews of the entire power grid system, especially in key areas such as the provincial administrative center, hospitals, industrial parks, entertainment areas and event venues.

The company closely coordinates with local authorities, police, military and customers with specialized transformer stations to deploy plans to protect the power grid and prevent fires and explosions. At the same time, organize inspections and ensure that the transmission system serving the safe operation of the power system, communications and computer networks operates stably and maintains continuous operation 24/24h.

Vinh Phuc Electricity also strengthens inspection and timely handling of existing problems and defects on the grid, clears the line corridor, ensures safe operation of the line and prevents the risk of incidents. Plans to ensure power supply during the holidays include arranging a reasonable grid method, ensuring safety and reliability under normal conditions and being able to flexibly switch in case of incidents; prioritizing stable power supply in areas where important political and cultural activities are held. In addition, the Company also arranges backup generators to ensure power in key areas during the holidays.

Electricity workers clear the power grid corridor

During the period from 00:00 on April 30, 2025 to 24:00 on May 4, 2025 (April 30 - May 1), the Company shall not perform any work that requires stopping or reducing power supply, causing power outages for customers, except in cases where it is necessary to handle incidents or prevent the risk of incidents.

In Bac Giang , Bac Giang Power Company (PC Bac Giang) has proactively developed a plan to ensure safe and stable power supply for people during the April 30 - May 1 holidays. PC Bac Giang has directed district, town and city power companies to proactively contact the People's Committees of the local districts, towns and cities to grasp the time and location of important political and social events in the area and develop a plan to ensure power supply (if any). Conduct inspections and overcome shortcomings and defects of the power grid and transformer stations (TSAs), increase inspections of TSAs (especially overloaded transformers) during peak hours, check terminals, connection points and handle contact points, fuses... to ensure good contact to avoid incidents when carrying high loads.

During the holiday (from April 30 to May 4), PC Bac Giang did not carry out work on the power grid as planned, leading to having to stop or reduce power supply, except in cases of troubleshooting or special cases. During this time, units increased the number of personnel on duty to operate and repair electricity 24/24 hours, fully prepared materials, equipment and means of transport, ready to be present to fix power problems as quickly as possible.

Like Vinh Phuc and Bac Giang, Lao Cai Power is ready to ensure electricity on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 in 2025. Accordingly, Lao Cai Power Company requires its affiliated units, the High Voltage Grid Operation Management Team and functional departments to strengthen grid inspection, thoroughly handle defects, especially at transformer stations, 22kV and 35kV medium voltage lines, ensure safe line corridors and smooth operation of the control information system.

The company also directed units to proactively review and prepare sufficient supplies and spare equipment; arrange vehicles and personnel to be ready to respond to incidents; and organize a 24/7 on-duty force during the holiday. During this time, PC Lao Cai will not cut off power for work, except in special cases or to handle unexpected incidents.

The Information Technology and Control Department (Lao Cai Electricity) is assigned to ensure stable operation of the power grid system to improve the readiness and synchronization of the power grid operation system. Local power units strengthen coordination with local authorities to update information on political and cultural events taking place during the holidays, thereby developing appropriate power supply plans to avoid interruptions.
