The 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) is expected to have 23 fighter jets of the Air Defense - Air Force ( Ministry of National Defense ) participating in the parade.

23 fighter jets participated in the April 30 parade, including: 7 Su-30MK2 fighters, 6 Yak-130 multi-role training and combat aircraft, 10 military helicopters (Mi-171, Mi-17, Mi-8).

10 military helicopters will carry the Party and national flags; flying in a 3-4-3 formation. In particular, there will be a Su-30MK2 dropping heat traps in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.

These parade planes are in service with the 3 air divisions 370, 371, 372 and the Air Force Officer School of the Air Defense - Air Force.

The parades will start from the Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection and pass the main stage in front of the Independence Palace. When finished, the parade will split into 4 directions and move to the assembly location.
