Presenting the report on adjusting the session agenda, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung stated that, based on the opinions of competent authorities, the actual preparation situation and the proposal of the Government, the Prime Minister , and agencies of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee proposed that the National Assembly allow the adjustment of the session agenda.
Accordingly, the time for the National Assembly to consider and approve before May 18 two draft Resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies, creating breakthroughs in law making and organization and enforcement, and a draft Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies for private economic development, will be adjusted to promptly institutionalize Resolution No. 66 and Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo , ensuring that the resolutions passed by the National Assembly are thoroughly understood and implemented immediately at the national conference to thoroughly understand and implement Resolution No. 66 and Resolution No. 68 on the morning of May 18.
At the same time, the Government added 3 contents to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision, including: supplementing the state budget for regular expenditure (foreign non-refundable aid capital) in 2025; transitioning to apply a number of specific mechanisms and policies that have been allowed by the National Assembly to be implemented in a number of localities after restructuring the apparatus and expanding administrative boundaries according to the Party and State's policies; adjusting the investment policy for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1.
In addition, the National Assembly will also arrange separate meetings for some contents, and adjust the order and time of discussion to ensure appropriateness and effectiveness in running the session.
The National Assembly is expected to close on the afternoon of June 27, with June 28 and 30 reserved as backup.
