What makes Lydie Vu feel pressured at Miss Supranational 2024

The 15th Miss Supranational was held in Poland with the participation of 70 contestants. The representative of Vietnam, Lydie Vu, participated in a series of activities within the framework of the contest such as photo shoots, filming, seminars, forums as well as a summer solstice party in the neighboring country.

In the semi-final night, Lydie Vu competed with a design inspired by butterfly wings that had been previously announced, combined with a fur coat. In addition, her fluent English advantage helped Lydie confidently converse with representatives from other countries and in front of international media cameras.

Lydie Vu said that her luggage to Miss Supranational 2024 also included a teddy bear. This is a souvenir gift Lydie received from her late father when she was 11 years old, during a trip to England.

Coming to Miss Supranational 2024, the biggest pressure for Lydie Vu is not the impressive achievements of Kim Duyen or Thanh Ngan in previous seasons. She revealed: “Each representative coming to the contest has different skills and strengths, so it is difficult to compare one with another. The biggest pressure is to conquer yourself, how to express yourself in the best way, so that your fans and family are proud to support you.”

Lydie Vu is a French-Vietnamese beauty, born in 1993, 1.76m tall, with measurements of 81-60-92 cm. She is considered one of the beauties with the most impressive body in the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 contest.

Along with Miss Supranational, the Mister Supranational contest also kicked off. After many rigorous selection rounds, Do Quang Tuyen became the representative of Vietnam to participate in Mister Supranational 2024.

Participating in an international competition for the first time, Do Quang Tuyen received a lot of support from his senior Lydie Vu.

Do Quang Tuyen was born in 2000, from Nam Dinh, is 1m85 tall, weighs 80kg. Recently, he was one of 5 models selected to participate in the presentation of collections by ASEAN designers at the first ASEAN International Fashion Week held in Singapore.

Along with the two contestants, this year's beauty pageant in Poland also welcomes another face from Vietnam. That is Kim Duyen - 2nd runner-up Miss Supranational 2022. The beauty from Can Tho will sit on the jury of both Mister Supranational 2024 and Miss Supranational 2024 alongside many prestigious names in the beauty industry.

Returning to Miss Supranational as a judge, Kim Duyen is also the first Vietnamese beauty with an international title to become an official judge of a beauty pageant in the Grand Slam system.

The news that Kim Duyen will play the role of "judge" at Mister Supranational 2024 and Miss Supranational 2024 makes domestic beauty fans even more proud and eager to watch the final event.

Kim Duyen was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, twice represented Vietnam in two international beauty contests and brought back impressive achievements such as Top 16 Miss Universe 2021 and 2nd Runner-up at Miss Supranational 2022.

The two final nights of Mister Supranational 2024 and Miss Supranational 2024 will be broadcast live on FPT Play. The program will be broadcast live from 01:00 on July 5 and 7, Vietnam time.
