The regret of a bilingual female MC who married a Westerner

Bilingual MC Thu Thuy publicly announced her IELTS score with a total score of 8.0. Thu Thuy still regrets that this score did not reach her expectations.

Thu Thuy is no longer a strange name in the bilingual MC world, having hosted a series of events such as the Singapore Regional Business Forum 2023, the Women's Conference 2023 organized by Forbes Vietnam, or Vietnam International Fashion Week in 2023 and 2024, P4G Summit 2025, Shark Tank Forum 2025.

Thu Thuy said that in her recent IELTS test, her speaking, listening, and reading skills all scored 8.5/9.0, while her writing skill alone scored 7.0, for a total IELTS score of 8.0.

MC Thu Thuy still regrets that this score did not reach her expectations: "When I received the results, the thing I regret the most is the writing score. As a bilingual MC who often hosts content-heavy programs and sometimes even translates live throughout, speaking is the skill I want to focus on the most. However, the process of learning to write has helped me improve my speaking skills."

Thu Thuy shared that she will continue to practice, upgrade her language skills and constantly improve herself to better serve her work. In the near future, she will continue to be invited to host throughout Vietnam International Fashion Week.

Thu Thuy holds a master's degree in Management and Marketing from Bournemouth University (UK). She is a former student of Foreign Language High School, graduated from Foreign Economics at Hanoi Foreign Trade University.
