Investigating the cause of 2 deaths in Long An province

On November 13, Long An Provincial Police said that the Provincial Police Investigation Agency is investigating the cause of the deaths of two people in Tan An City.

Where the incident occurred

According to initial information, on the evening of November 10, Ms. NTB went to Huyen Linh motel (Ward 7, Tan An City) owned by Mr. TNT (owner) to talk. There, the two had a conflict and argued loudly with each other.

At around 2am on November 11, Ms. NTB went to Mr. TNT’s room and knocked on the door. Mr. TNT opened the door, and was immediately doused with gasoline by Ms. NTB and set on fire. Afterwards, Ms. NTB took a bottle of pesticide that she had prepared and drank it to commit suicide.

Severely burned, Mr. TNT opened the door and shouted for help from people around and took him to the emergency room. Mrs. NTB ran home more than 1km away and locked the door.

Mr. TNT was taken to the emergency room by people and died at around 9:00 a.m. the same day. Mrs. NTB was discovered by her family and taken to the emergency room but died at around 3:00 p.m. the same day.

Currently, the Long An Provincial Police Department is investigating and clarifying the case.
