The working session was co-chaired by Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security .
Delegates discussed in depth key issues related to digital infrastructure and digital applications in areas such as finance, justice, education, agriculture , environment, land management and healthcare. Difficulties and obstacles in connecting national databases, ensuring information security, and improving the quality of staff working in digital transformation were also frankly acknowledged.
Reporting at the working session, Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee said that it had issued Action Plan No. 266-KH/TU including 79 goals, 10 groups of solutions and 233 specific tasks to implement Resolution 57 in a practical manner, in line with local requirements.
To date, digital infrastructure has covered more than 99.7% of villages and hamlets with mobile and internet services; 100% of agencies from the province to the commune work in an electronic environment; more than 700 online meeting rooms are in regular operation. The province has connected 5/10 national databases, published more than 300 open data sets to serve people and businesses.

In implementing Project 06, Thanh Hoa currently leads the country in the number of online public services (1,758/1,950 services); more than 611,000 digital signatures issued; 684 medical facilities signed contracts to use Citizen Identification Card/VNeID instead of cards. Over 2.2 million VNeID level 2 accounts have been successfully activated.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long emphasized: To effectively transform digitally, all levels and sectors in Thanh Hoa need to continue to simplify administrative procedures, improve the quality of public services, promote breakthrough thinking in science and technology, and proactively lead people to participate in the digital transformation process.
He also suggested that localities pay attention to investing in digital infrastructure, national integrated data, attracting high-quality human resources and perfecting the digital ecosystem suitable for the two-level government organization model.
Concluding the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh affirmed: Thanh Hoa will continue to concretize Resolution 57 into practical tasks, prioritizing the construction of digital infrastructure, development of digital economy, and digital society on the basis of modern population data.
The province hopes to continue to receive close coordination from the Ministry of Public Security in connecting data, perfecting the legal corridor and ensuring information security, effectively serving people and businesses.
The working session demonstrated Thanh Hoa's proactive, open-minded and determined spirit in the journey of comprehensive digital transformation, with people at the center, data as the foundation and technology as the driving force for development.
