The delegation of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam paid a courtesy visit to the provincial leaders

On the morning of December 18, Mr. Trinh Truong Huy, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of a number of departments and branches, received a delegation from the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), led by Mr. Chang Ho-Seung, Deputy Ambassador, Counselor and Consul General of the Korean Ambassador to Vietnam.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy welcomed the delegation of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam to work with the province. At the same time, he was pleased with the relationship between the province and the Korean Embassy in Vietnam which has been constantly expanded, developed, increasingly deepened and achieved practical results.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed many important issues such as: Strengthening cooperation in the fields of tourism, education, and smart agriculture; Project "Supporting green circular economy through improving agricultural value chains in Northern Vietnam" in two provinces: Cao Bang and Bac Kan; Strengthening cooperation and exchanges in the fields of consular affairs and citizen protection.

Speaking at the courtesy visit, Mr. Chang Ho-Seung, Deputy Ambassador, Counselor and Consul General of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, highly appreciated the potential strengths of the province. He believed that in the coming time, many Korean tourists and businesses will know about Cao Bang and will come to learn, research and invest in the province. Currently, in Vietnam, there are many organizations operating in many fields, the Embassy will maximize its role in connecting with the province to attract many businesses to invest in Cao Bang, especially in the fields of tourism, education and agriculture . Thereby, contributing to promoting the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Korea in general, between the province and localities, and Korean businesses in particular to develop more and more well.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy thanked the delegation of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam for visiting and working in Cao Bang. Although Cao Bang is favored by nature, has many majestic landscapes with great tourism potential, investment resources are still weak, and transport infrastructure and socio-economics still face many difficulties in many areas. He hopes that in the coming time, the Korean Embassy will help the province promote the image of Cao Bang to the Korean people. Continue to support the province in connecting Korean enterprises to survey and invest in the province, connecting the two sides to cooperate in trade and research so that the province's high-value agricultural products can be exported to the Korean market. Support the province in the field of labor to promote human resource exchange programs and promote the pilot implementation of the model of sending workers from the province to work seasonally in Korea in the form of cooperation between localities of the two countries.

We propose that the Korean side pay attention and create favorable conditions for the province to receive ODA aid projects, use non-refundable aid capital and preferential loans from the Korean Government in the fields of public administration management, water resources management, healthcare, education and training, transportation and urban infrastructure... On the province's side, we are ready to create the most favorable conditions for foreign investors to invest in industrial infrastructure.
