The activity took place on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Southern Uprising Day (November 23, 1940 - November 23, 2025).
At the national historical site Nga Ba Giong, delegates offered incense, flowers and observed a minute of silence to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh , former Party and State leaders and compatriots and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The national historical site of Nga Ba Giong is a place associated with the heroic history of the nation. In the grounds of this site, documents, artifacts, and historical images about the people and land of the 1940 Southern Uprising are being displayed.
The national historical site of Nga Ba Giong is one of three shooting ranges established by the French colonialists in Hoc Mon in 1941. At this shooting range, the French colonialists executed revolutionaries Nguyen Van Cu, General Secretary of the Indochinese Party, and Phan Dang Luu, Standing Member of the Central Committee of the Indochinese Communist Party, along with many compatriots and soldiers participating in the Nam Ky Uprising.
On the same day, delegates attended the flower and incense offering ceremony at the national historical-cultural relic "Hoc Mon District Palace Site", Hoc Mon commune.
Here, the delegates expressed their deep gratitude for the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs - the nation's outstanding sons who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.
