On July 5, the provincial National Assembly Delegation had a meeting with voters of Tien Yen and Dam Ha districts to inform them about the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Attending the meeting were delegates: Vu Hong Thanh, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation. Also attending was comrade Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegation, delegate Vu Hong Thanh, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, reported to voters the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, after 27.5 working days, the Session completed the entire agenda. The National Assembly reviewed and voted to pass 11 laws and 21 resolutions. The Session conducted questions and answers; reviewed and decided on personnel, socio-economic and state budget issues; reviewed the report on the synthesis of voters' and people's petitions, reported the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions, and a number of other important contents.
At the conference, local voters also listened to delegate Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, report on the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the session. With a proactive, positive and effective spirit, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has made many innovations in the way of participating and organizing discussions on contents, especially in organizing to collect opinions on draft laws submitted to the National Assembly. In particular, at the discussion sessions of the session, the Provincial National Assembly deputies promoted their intelligence and practical experience, discussed enthusiastically, clearly expressing the views of the National Assembly deputies, the opinions of voters and the people sent to the session. 8/8 National Assembly deputies in the Delegation registered to speak with 35 direct speeches in groups and the hall.
Voters in Tien Yen and Dam Ha districts are excited and confident in the results of the 7th Session as well as solutions for national development. At the same time, voters acknowledged the proactiveness, positivity, and quality contributions of the provincial National Assembly Delegation at the Session. Voters also proposed and recommended a number of contents such as: Considering supporting insurance premiums for households when the basic salary increases; ensuring safety during the implementation of traffic infrastructure development projects; speeding up the process of handing over water surfaces to people for aquaculture development; promptly investing in putting into operation a high-tech agricultural zone in Dam Ha district; studying policy mechanisms to promote the role of prestigious people in ethnic minority areas...
On behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegation, delegate Vu Hong Thanh, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, provided more information on issues of concern to voters in Tien Yen and Dam Ha districts. The delegate also said that voters' recommendations will be fully compiled to be submitted to the National Assembly, relevant ministries, branches, agencies and localities for consideration according to regulations. In the coming time, the provincial National Assembly delegation will continue to pay attention to and supervise the handling and response to voters' opinions and recommendations by central ministries, branches and relevant functional agencies; ensuring that opinions are promptly resolved, meeting the expectations and desires of voters and people.
