Attending the Program in Phu Yen, there were representatives of the Central Youth Union's Rural Youth Committee, Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union, Youth Union of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , Youth Union of the Central Bank, Youth Union of Vietnam Television, Youth Union of Vietnam Post Corporation.
The 4th National Green Sunday Central Point and the response to the Campaign to Make the World Cleaner in 2023 took place in Phu Yen province with the following activities: Launching the planting of 5,200 trees in An Hiep commune and An Hoa Hai commune; inaugurating 01 youth project "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - civilized - safe route" in Phu Thuong village, An Hoa Hai commune; launching "Let's clean the sea"; giving net bags to go to the market to union members, youth, and local people; organizing activities to exchange recycled plastic waste for green trees including fruit trees such as star fruit, guava, mango, etc.; visiting and giving gifts and national flags to fishermen at the beach of Phu Thuong village, An Hoa Hai commune.
Also on this occasion, the Central Youth Union and Youth Union units presented a model of "Self-managed Youth Road: Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Civilized - Safe" including 20 solar lights, 20 trash cans, 200 purple cycads, and 5,000 trees to Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union.
The 4th National Green Sunday saw more than 700 units simultaneously launch activities such as: youth volunteers cleaning up the environment, renovating the landscape; planting and caring for trees, implementing new rural flower roads; implementing models of creating green tree seedlings of the "For a Green Vietnam" Youth Union; planting trees combined with economic development (green tree nurseries, livelihood tree gardens, Youth Union garden models in schools, youth tree hills); implementing the target of "Planting at least 20 million new trees" by 2023; implementing "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe - civilized" projects in localities and units.
In addition, focus on promoting and replicating community models of action against plastic waste; supporting start-up ideas, start-up models, and entrepreneurship of young people in the fields of environmental protection and climate change response...
At the same time, promote the role of youth volunteer teams applying biotechnology in handling black spots of environmental pollution, instructing people to classify waste at source, and process household waste into products serving agriculture and daily life./.
