Entrepreneurs proactively connect and join hands to build Dien Bien to become more and more developed.

Representatives of the Dien Bien Provincial Business Association presented gifts to support students and teachers in Na Son commune - an area heavily damaged by flash floods and landslides in early August 2025.

Reviewing some of the difficulties in recent times, Mr. Bui Duc Giang, Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Business Association, said: Fluctuating market prices; natural disasters, storms and floods affecting many places and the arrangement of two-level local government in Dien Bien have affected businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises in the area. However, with entrepreneurial enthusiasm and determination to steer the small "boat" through difficulties, businessmen have proactively connected, shared experiences and shared difficulties to find solutions together.

Citing the practical experience of site clearance for projects that are inherently difficult, in the context of local authorities having to focus on arranging the organization, apparatus, and personnel for the commune level, Mr. Bui Duc Giang pointed out that as soon as the Central Government decided to organize according to the two-level local government model, the Association's leaders recognized that there would be many changes in grassroots personnel and certainly would not avoid disruptions in the work related to the enterprises being implemented. Therefore, the Association's collective leadership proactively grasped and met with businessmen and member enterprises to listen to their thoughts and receive recommendations to synthesize into a joint petition to send to state management agencies and the Provincial People's Committee to request solutions and solutions.

In the first 9 months of 2025 alone, the Association received 23 petitions from businesses, focusing mainly on the following issues: Site clearance, difficulties in planning and adjusting land use planning; outstanding capital payment debt at completed projects; and difficulties in implementing projects in the agricultural and forestry sector... From the received petitions, the Association sent a report to the Provincial People's Committee and advised the committee's leaders on solutions to overcome them.

Mr. Bui Duc Giang, Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Business Association, shared his experience in grasping and resolving difficulties of enterprises when the locality implemented the transfer according to the two-level local government model.

Regarding the petition group (11 member business opinions) related to construction materials, including: crushed sand, natural sand, construction stone, burnt bricks and unburnt bricks... the Association's leaders proactively proposed and chaired the organization of 4 direct working sessions with the Dien Bien Department of Construction to resolve the issues.

At the working sessions, the Department of Construction directed specialized departments and divisions to coordinate and guide businesses to remove specific procedural difficulties; the construction of a new set of labor unit prices and unit prices for the management of construction investment costs in the area was also agreed upon by the two agencies on specific solutions and implementation methods.

Not only supporting and connecting businesses in the area, Dien Bien Provincial Business Association also proactively sends delegations to participate in trade connection conferences, supporting Dien Bien businesses to introduce and promote Dien Bien branded products to provinces and cities in the country.

Thanks to that, the Dien Bien coffee brand - Hong Ky Company's coffee has been increasingly trusted by consumers.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Ba, Permanent Vice President of Dien Bien Provincial Business Association, and Dien Bien businessmen presented gifts to students and teachers in the flood-affected area.

Pioneering in social security work, demonstrating the responsibility of businesses and entrepreneurs to the community, in just the first 9 months of 2025, the Dien Bien Provincial Business Association has called on and mobilized hundreds of member businesses to participate in social and charitable activities; accompanying local Party committees and authorities to implement programs to support "warm homes of love", taking care of policy families, the poor, people in difficult circumstances and families affected by flash floods and landslides.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Ba, Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Province Business Association, said: In order to affirm the commitment to "accompany the government", in the past 9 months alone, the Association, its branches and member businesses have supported many political , cultural and social programs and events in the province with a total value of nearly 10 billion VND.

Most recently, the flash floods and landslides caused heavy losses in human lives and property of the people in Xa Dung, Tia Dinh, Muong Luan, Phinh Giang communes. Enterprises and units such as BIDV , rubber, VNPT, Ruyen Hung, Bao Viet, Book Equipment, Environment, Hoa Ba, Company No. 6... donated materials, goods, utensils, equipment and cash worth more than 3 billion VND to help people in the flood-affected areas ease their difficulties. After the flash floods passed, the Association's leaders also directly went to schools to give gifts, supporting 350 students with hundreds of gifts with a total value of more than 150 million VND.

In recognition of the contributions and dedication of entrepreneurs and businesses, on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13), the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 groups; the Provincial Business Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 groups and individuals with many contributions in activities.

Thanking the companionship of Dien Bien businessmen and business community, comrade Le Thanh Do, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee sent his best wishes to Dien Bien businessmen and businesses to continue promoting their experience and pioneering entrepreneurial spirit in production and business, together contributing to the development of Dien Bien.

Emphasizing the role of entrepreneurs and enterprises in the national economy, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do said that development opportunities for entrepreneurs and enterprises in Dien Bien are increasingly open and wide when Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development was signed and issued by General Secretary To Lam. This is considered a historical milestone in the country's development process, a strong wind bringing the Vietnamese private economic boat and Dien Bien enterprises to rise.
