Tourists visit the 'residence' of homeless people

Established in 2012, Pragulic Company has achieved a lot of success thanks to its service of taking tourists to explore the "dark side" of the magnificent capital city of Prague.

Former homeless people, drug addicts and beggars are recruited by the company Pragulic to take tourists to the places they once called “home”.

One of them is Roman, born into a poor family. At the age of 2, his parents sent him to an orphanage. After many life events, Roman was immersed in stimulants and addiction.

He lived here and there all over Prague, considered trash as a "mattress", and slept through the day.

Roman's life has completely changed thanks to Pragulic. After nearly a decade of wandering the streets, he now has a stable job that is enough to support his life.

Every day, Roman and other members of Pragulic directly guide tourists on special experience tours lasting about 2 hours.

People will participate in daily activities in street life such as finding a place to sleep, begging for food or facing countless unexpected challenges and difficulties.

"Visitors will receive help and companionship from our own guides. Through their previous experiences, they can help you better understand the difficult life of homeless people," Jureckova said.

Since its launch, more than 150,000 tourists from all over the world have joined Pragulic tours. For them, this is not just a trip but also a journey of sharing and empathy.

Depending on time and tour guide options, Pragulic's tour prices range from 350 - 550 CZK (about 411,000 - 650,000 VND)/person.
