On June 19, Mr. Mai Minh Vuong, Vice President and General Secretary of the Da Nang Golf Association, said that within the framework of the Vietnam - England Football Festival taking place in Da Nang, legends of the Manchester United (MU) football team will exchange golf with Vietnamese fans.
Mr. Vuong shared that the 2025 golf tournament "The Red Dream - Golf Day" organized by the Danang Golf Association in coordination with the Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam - England Football Festival will be held at Ba Na Hills Golf Club on June 26.
The tournament gathered about 100 people including MU players, Vietnamese players and guests and fans.
At the tournament, players have the opportunity to compete, take souvenir photos and interact directly with golf legends such as Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Michael Owen, Teddy Sheringham...
"This is a unique golf exchange festival between Vietnamese fans and football legends from Manchester United Club. We hope that through this event we can promote Da Nang golf tourism on the Asian golf map," said Mr. Vuong.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang informed that in addition to the football match taking place at Hoa Xuan Stadium, the participation of the players in the golf tournament will contribute to promoting the image of Da Nang.
The Vietnam - UK Football Festival 2025 will be held from June 26 to 29 with the aim of promoting tourism and sports connections, enriching tourism and sports products, contributing to boosting the economy and promoting the image of Da Nang city.
The highlight of this event is the friendly match between The Manchester Reds and Vietnam Stars on the evening of June 27 at Hoa Xuan Stadium.
In addition to the classic match with the legends of the "Red Devils", the Vietnam - UK Football Festival 2025 will have a series of other activities such as a seminar on promoting investment and tourism between Vietnam and the UK, along with activities to share the potential for investment and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and the UK.
Tickets to watch the legendary MU team play at Hoa Xuan Stadium range from 600,000 VND to 1.5 million VND.
According to the organization plan, the key match at Hoa Xuan Stadium with a capacity of about 17,000 people has ticket prices from 600,000 VND to 1.5 million VND depending on the stands.
