National First Division Football Tournament - Bia Sao Vang 2025/26 with the participation of 12 professional football teams, including: Bac Ninh Club, Van Hien University, Dong Thap, Khatoco Khanh Hoa, Long An , Ho Chi Minh City (renamed from Ba Ria Vung Tau Club), Thanh Nien Ho Chi Minh City (renamed from Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club), PVF-CAND Youth, Dong Nai (renamed from Binh Phuoc Club), Quang Ninh, Quy Nhon United, (renamed from Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club), Xuan Thien Phu Tho (renamed from Gia Dinh Club).

This year's tournament has a total of 22 rounds with 132 matches, starting from September 19, 2025 and ending in June 2026, applying the round-robin format (home - away) to calculate ranking points.

At the end of the season, the top 2 teams will be promoted to the 2026/27 National Championship, while the bottom 2 teams will be relegated to the Second Division the following season. The champion team will receive a prize of 2 billion VND, the second-place team will receive 1 billion VND, and the third-place team will receive 500 million VND.

In the 2025/26 First Division, each participating club is allowed to register a maximum of 1 foreign player, 1 Vietnamese player of foreign origin and 2 foreign players of Vietnamese origin.

According to the draw results, Cong Phuong 's Dong Nai Club will host Ho Chi Minh City in the opening match. Coach Park Hang Seo's Bac Ninh Club will visit Thanh Nien Ho Chi Minh City, while newcomer Quang Ninh will meet PVF-CAND Youth.
