Checking the preparations of some teams before the 33rd SEA Games

VHO - Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet recently led a delegation of the Department to visit, work with and encourage the national teams training at the Athlete Training Center of Bac Ninh University of Sports. The delegation also included Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration Nguyen Hong Minh.

The working delegation led by Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet visited the fencing team.

Here, Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet directly visited the training areas, facilities and encouraged the competitive spirit of each team. He highly appreciated the initiative and seriousness in training work, the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the coaching team and athletes. The Director affirmed that the Vietnam Sports Administration will pay attention and provide maximum support in terms of training conditions, nutrition and professional equipment so that the teams can fully prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

In particular, through listening to the recommendations from the teams, the Director has promptly directed measures to overcome difficulties, solve some problems regarding facilities, training equipment and operating costs, in order to create the most favorable conditions for the teams. This close attention and timely decisions have created great motivation for teachers and students at the Center, contributing to strengthening the belief and determination to complete the assigned tasks.

On behalf of the school, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Principal of the school, thanked the leaders of the Vietnam Sports Administration for always caring, directing and accompanying the school in the work of training and educating national athletes. The presence and direct guidance of the Director before the 33rd SEA Games will be a great source of encouragement, adding spiritual strength to all staff, coaches and athletes before this important Congress.

Currently, the Center has 14 national and youth teams training. Of which, 6 teams with a total of 65 athletes will compete in the 33rd SEA Games, including: Badminton, Athletics, Handball, Fencing, Volleyball and Youth Weightlifting National Teams. These are all key teams of Vietnamese Sports , expected to contribute high achievements in the regional arena.

Not only is it the leading cradle for training coaches, managers, and officials for the Sports industry, over the years, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports has also been one of the effective training centers. With a green, clean, beautiful, and professional environment, many athletes who have grown up from the school's training cradle have made great contributions to Vietnamese sports. Currently, the two leading Vietnamese tennis players, Thuy Linh and Duc Phat, are also training here.
